The team has taken on the graduation season with full force. The last two days we have covered the Temple and Vila Rica high school graduations @ the illustrus coliseum on the campus of West Georgia University. Stay tuned, this was only the first leg of the season. Next week we’ll be covering even more events.

Darren Williams and the New Jersey Nets are coming to Phillips Arena this Saturday night to face Al Horford and the Atlanta Hawks. I’ll be shooting from the visitors baseline. WSRA 1250AM provided the media pass and the pictures will be online here and there website. This is my second NBA game I’ll be covering.

Here are the pictures from the game last night. If you were watching the game on Sport South you saw Al Horford bulldoze me over on the sideline which gave me a few bruises but he was nice enough to help me up.

I will be shooting the Georgia marathon and half marathon for Brightroom tomorrow morning. I will be around the starting line and vendors taking candids. Just got my vest from Brightroom so you can’t miss me. Don’t forget to leave early and Marta is always smarta. The weather looks like it is going to be great. We’ll have alot of photographers out so make sure you smile and don’t spit.

UPDATE

I got a media pass to the Nuggets versus the Hawks game this past Wednesday. WSRA 1250AM allowed me to represent them and take pictures at Phillips Arena. Talk about a great experience. I’m hoping to cover the Nets vs Hawks coming up this Saturday.

The starting line was a Tucker high school and went on Lawrenceville highway all the way to Shamrock middle school. The weather allowed us to take great pictures and have some fun while doing it. Thanks to Dottie for doing my PR.
